Accessibility declaration for the ZACOHome app

Robovox Distributions GmbH strives to make the ZACOHome App accessible in accordance with legal accessibility requirements — in particular the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the corresponding regulation (BFSGV).

The legal requirements are based on the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformance level AA, insofar as these are applicable to mobile applications.

Level of compliance

Our ZACOHome App is largely compliant with accessibility requirements.
The core functions of the app (e.g., robot control and configuration, status displays, scheduling) are generally usable via screen readers and system accessibility features.
We are continuously working to further optimize the app's accessibility.

Known limitations

  • In certain control areas (e.g., sliders, icons), operation via screen reader or keyboard (with external keyboard) is not yet optimal.
  • Certain graphical status indicators (e.g., battery level, cleaning status) are currently displayed visually only and are not yet fully supported with textual alternatives.

We plan to gradually improve these limitations over the course of 2025.

Usability and compatibility

The app has been tested using:

  • Android (TalkBack, Android 15)
  • iOS (VoiceOver, iOS 17)

The ZACOHome App also supports system features for text magnification and contrast adjustments.
